Data, Health Technology Assessment and access

This task will focus on developing a catalogue to make data easier to find and use; creating software tools and digital applications that are compatible with European standards; connecting with other European research projects, such as CANDLE, PRIME-ROSE, and PCM4EU; making it easier for Member States to adopt and implement the European Health Data Space. The data infrastructure will cover information from screening to treatment and survivorship, including genetic testing, clinical outcomes, quality of life, and cost data.

This task will apply and adapt existing methods for evaluating the benefits and costs of personalised cancer medicine.

This task focuses on exploring the uncertainties and perspectives of payers, regulators, and companies, and on proposing strategies to enhance the accessibility of novel testing strategies and treatment options. It will build upon knowledge developed through previous EU-funded projects, and will take into account recent developments in joint European Union Health Technology Assessment and upcoming pharmaceutical Health Technology Assessment processes.
